Scripture Writing Plan  – Theme: Love

This month’s theme is all about Love. Each day we will write verses about Love, how it behaves, how to give it and how to receive it.

We start out the month writing about the love we are to have for one another.

Next, we look at how God’s word has taught us how to love one another.

Then we look at scriptures that show how love should be between a husband and wife.

Finally, we look at how God’s love is expressed towards us: how His love acts.

So, for the next 31 days, spend each day contemplating the love God for us, the love we are to have for one another, and the love of a husband and wife.

Please share your scripture writing on social media. You never know who you could encourage by sharing the work you are doing to grow in God’s word!

You can share in the Women Walking in Diligence Group, on Facebook, Instagram – wherever you “hang out”. Use the hashtag #DWScriptureWriting or #ScriptureWritingClub so we can search and find what you have shared.

Wouldn’t it be fun to see God’s word all over the internet this way?

I’m a little disturbed and confused. I’ve really been trying to be more “diligent” in my scriptures. January’s month went well. February’s month went well. There was trouble in finding February’s monthly scripture writing for 2018 because it turns out, the plan isn’t available until the day of. That’s ok. I was able to print it out and continue with my daily scriptures. However, it is March 1st and this month’s scripture plan still isn’t available. I’ve discovered that it won’t be available for another 3 days because February’s plan extends beyond the 28 days of the month. So I can’t start March’s plan until the 4th and then I have to backtrack just to catch up from the lack of the plan being available prior to the beginning of the month. I did find the March writing plan from last year and realized that every year is the same scriptures for every month. That is what really disappoints me. I look forward to new scriptures and extending my knowledge in each of the subject areas. But every year is simply the same, over and over again. Disappointing. Take care and good luck to you.

    1. Hello, Jennifer! That is great that you are being diligent about being in the scriptures. Thank you so much for your interest and for following!

I’m sorry you are disappointed. The plan for March was scheduled for 3am this morning – however, the server for the site was down, so no posts published. I have only now been able to get the problem corrected.

Signing up for our emails gets the plans emailed directly to you in PDF form.

The Scripture Writing Club gets you the plan a day early and gives you four exclusive scripture images throughout the month of writing via email. The Diligent Woman FB group gets the plan loaded as soon as it goes live – so in the early morning hours of the day. There are many ways to get to them – assuming all the technology is cooperating, of course. In some cases, people who are doing them as a group effort – they email and request an early copy a couple of days in advance, which I do honor, per request.

The plans are not exactly the same. January’s were in a different order, with a couple of changes. February’s were in a different order as well, with the addition of three more days. March’s is quite a bit different. April will be last year’s plan from May with changes made. May will be an entirely different theme. But when we are doing themes like this, it is quite possible that the verses given for a full month of writing are all that there are on that subject, especially in a straightforward reading and a writing that only takes 15 minutes. We are adding new themes this year as well. The Bible also teaches us that repetition is necessary for learning. Writing the same verses again will likely give deeper understanding than the first time read or written.

The plans are adaptable and simply a tool. The way they are offered this year is to not hold anyone to a calendar month for a theme. It’s designed to do 31 days consistently. The focus is on the theme and time in the scripture. However, if you want to stick to the monthly calendar, you can. In this case, because of the technical issues, one could go ahead with day 29 of the Love theme since the Wisdom theme was not available. Then once the Wisdom theme is available just pick up with whatever day it correlates to.

I hope the information helps you to get back on track. I’m sorry the delay this morning caused problems. The timing was distressing. If you care to do so, sign up for the Scripture Writing club, and I will manually move you forward so that the Wisdom set is sent today ASAP.

Thanks again for being here. I appreciate your patience when there are hangups such as this.

      With all diligence, Angela
